@Dorus Here is the most recent version of our brand film, which is nearly finalized. If you are able to integrate it into tomorrow's build, that would be great!
@Dorus Here is the most recent version of our brand film, which is nearly finalized. If you are able to integrate it into tomorrow's build, that would be great!
Thanks for the update! I really appreciate all the work you're putting into fine-tuning everything...
You: New link comes your way tomorrow morning your time rather than today.
Got the invite, see you at 7.
You: Is goed. 7 PM my time works, I'll see you later. Here's the link: meet.google.com/kzr-hwqx-tdp
@Dorus before the new link goes out, could we get you on a call to walk through our feedback together? Anything from 7 PM your time works on our side.
You: Thanks, the WeTransfer worked. All folders downloaded.
@Dorus I have uploaded all the contents from the Google Drive folder to WeTransfer for your convenience...
Hi @Dorus, I've converted the CR3 files into JPGs. I think they may still be a little large, but I wanted to get these back to you ASAP!
@Dorus We are aiming for a launch date of Monday, August 24th, and we want to ensure we are all aligned to make that happen.
I hope you had a great holiday! @Dorus we have finalized all our feedback and materials for the website...
We would like to schedule a call tomorrow at 9:30 AM to discuss our notes, as we have several ideas to share.
You: The site is built. You can walk through it here: salazardesign.webflow.io
Sharing additional photos, a preview of our brand video, and some thoughts on the fonts. We would like to lean slightly lighter and more delicate...
Thanks so much for your time today! Here's a summary of the feedback we discussed...
You: The first designs are ready for you to explore: salazar.dedigitaal.nl

Hey @Dorus, welcome to our Slack channel!
We've set this up so everything for the website lives in one place instead of scattered across email. Feel free to post updates, links and questions here at any time. Maria and Devin are in the channel as well, and Piper will handle the photography and copy from our side.
Two house rules from us: anything that changes the scope or the timeline goes in this thread so we all see it, and screenshots are very welcome. We're excited to get going.
Also, I have completed the invoice payment, so please let me know when it successfully goes through on your end.
Thanks for the welcome, happy to be here.
The payment came through on my end. We're getting started, and you'll receive an update from me later this week.
@Dorus I hope you are having a good week. Wanted to check in on the status, as we have not had an update since our last correspondence.
The build was set to commence right after the payment cleared, with the first design iterations about a week after that. Our launch timeline needs coordinated review calls, so a quick update on your progress would help us align the next steps.
All on track. The first designs of the core pages are in refinement now, and you can expect them within a few days. I'll follow with a couple of options for our review call as soon as they're ready.
Thanks for your patience, and apologies for the quiet since the last update. No concerns on the timeline.
The first designs are ready for you to explore: salazar.dedigitaal.nl
A few notes before you dive in:
Have a look with your team, I'm looking forward to your response. If you'd like to go through it on a call, that's always possible.
Thank you for sharing the prototype. We like the foundation you have built and look forward to discussing our feedback during our call tomorrow.
Thank you also for working around the photo quality issue, you chose a great assortment. We are currently compiling higher-resolution images directly from our SD card for the final site.
Great to hear, and good that the higher-resolution images are on the way. That solves the photography side for the final site. See you later today!
Thanks so much for your time today! Here's a summary of the feedback we discussed:
Homepage
Hide the menu on initial load (reveal on scroll, as originally designed). Remove the services section; keep it simple: video → fade to dark as you scroll → copy → selected work. Open to a version with minimal services near the about button, per your recommendation.
About page
Simplify to feature Angel only. Add team spotlight photos and process imagery, plus a mission statement (copy from us).
Portfolio page
Keep as a clean gallery with minimal text. Move the disciplines section (flora, tablescapes) to the Services page instead.
Design
Make the background darker, charcoal or medium gray, on the homepage and portfolio. Explore alternative serif options in the same vein, we'll send font inspiration.
Clients and contact
Keep the logo scroll on the homepage, list all public clients in full on About, and update the studio address from 5th floor to 1st floor.
Hi @Dorus, attaching some approved copy for your reference:
Angel Salazar Design is a luxury floral and experiential design studio creating botanical environments that transform venues and events into unforgettable experiences. From large-scale installations to intimate gatherings, every project is approached with an artistic sensibility rooted in movement, texture, and storytelling.
I will also share some more photos for your reference, hopefully by Monday.
Sharing additional photos, a preview of our brand video, and some thoughts on the fonts.

Brand video version 2: app.lemonlight.com/post-production/...ASPECT1/2
On the font, we would like to lean slightly lighter and more delicate. Attached are some preferred styles. We also found some colorblocked main pages that interested us, the pilates studio one especially feels in line with the skeleton we want for the homepage.
Thanks for all the content @Piper Ingels. I'm working on it and will keep you posted!
Apologies @Piper Ingels, the transfer is expired. Can you please resend it? Thank you!
@Samiha Tasnim @Piper Ingels the site is built. You can walk through it here: salazardesign.webflow.io
This is the real Webflow build, not a prototype. Every page, every interaction, responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile. Your feedback from our call is in there.
The menu stays hidden on load and appears as you scroll. The homepage runs film → dark → copy → selected work, with the services reduced to quiet links. About features Angel alone, with the team and process imagery and your mission statement. The disciplines moved to the Services page. The portfolio is a clean gallery on the darker ground you asked for. The full client list is on About, the logo scroll stayed on the homepage, and the studio address is corrected to 1st floor.
The serif is the one thing I'd still like to look at together. I have lighter, more delicate variants prepared along the lines of what you sent, and they are much easier to judge side by side on a call.
Three things I need from you:
Good to know: I'm on holiday between August 10th and August 14th.
Thank you for sending over the build. We would like to schedule a call tomorrow at 9:30 AM to discuss our notes, as we have several ideas to share.
Please let us know if that time works for you.
Yes, that time works for me. See you then!
I hope you had a great holiday! Thanks @Dorus,
We have finalized all our feedback and materials for the website. The detailed page-by-page feedback is attached below:
Please refer to these documents for the next version of the website and let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you, the feedback document is clear and well organized. I'll start working through it this week.
One thing I need before I can place the photography: most files in the folders are CR3 format. These are raw camera files, so the color, contrast and white balance haven't been finalized yet. If I convert them myself, I'd be making creative decisions that belong with you and your photographer.
Could you have them delivered as edited JPGs, sRGB, longest side around 2500-3000 pixels? Same folder structure as now, that part works well.
I've converted the CR3 files into JPGs. The folder is here. I think they may still be a little large, but I wanted to get these back to you ASAP! Let me know if there are any other issues with the images.
@Dorus could you let us know what the timeline looks like from your end for completing the website launch? We are aiming for a launch date of Monday, August 24th, and we want to ensure we are all aligned to make that happen.
I have uploaded all the contents from the Google Drive folder to WeTransfer for your convenience. (edited)
@Dorus before the new link goes out, could we get you on a call to walk through our feedback together? We'd like to hear your take and make sure we're on the right track before Monday.
Anything from 7 PM your time works on our side. Piper and Maria will join.
Is goed. 7 PM my time works, I'll see you later.
Here's the link: https://meet.google.com/kzr-hwqx-tdp
I'll put it in the calendar and send the invite to all four of you.
Got the invite, see you at 7.
Good call earlier, thanks all. Quick update from my side.
I'm running slightly longer on the fine tuning than I expected, so the new link will come your way tomorrow morning your time rather than today.
Thanks for the update, and thanks for making time tonight. The call was really helpful, it's clear we're on the same page.
I really appreciate all the work you're putting into fine-tuning everything, and we're excited to see the final result.
